Horton Plains

Waters of the Gregory Lake show a clear reflection of the skies above, the sunnier it gets, while during the monsoon, the lake is covered in a thick white haze. Grab a boat ride and sail across the lake, or enjoy a paddleboat ride to get lost in nature and time. The green beside the lake accompanied by vibrant flowers is the perfect spot to lie down and waddle around with family, friends and loved ones.
Victoria Park

For over a century, this park has been home to a decent variety of prismatic flowers, tall shady trees, and luscious greeneries. Sita Amman Temple
A ten-minute drive from Nuwara Eliya Town is all it takes to get to the Sita Amman Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site that plays great significance in Hindu mythology. Saunter around the temple, and you’ll witness a mini-natural spring with engraved footprints on its rocks – legend has it that these are footprints of Hanuman. Bewilder yourself in the presence of statues within the temple premises dedicated to the deities; Rama, Sitha, Hanuman and Lakshman.
